because its the simplest to use.  and i used it just because i didn't ever use any other weapons, i knew the order which to use them so i stuck with what i knew to get the best leveling effect.  when it comes time to kill someone, get out the other weapons, war hammer, rapier, etc.  and another reason slashing is used on PCRPG, look at the anchets, a VERY high powered weapon at a lower level, good deal.  If the anchets was NOT in place, i would have probably switched over to piercing instead.

Backstabbing is almost pointless with bots..

Bashing has a long recovery, and it isn't effective untill later levels.

To backstab, you need two skills.

Bashing also can be a pain to train.

But the Anchet's is in place, so that's not an effective argument. As it stands, you and most other people use slashing more than anything else. So why does it's power need to be increased?

If you mean cleave, then it was like bash where you would #cleave, then hit with a slashing weapon. Cleaving would make an attack regardless of the target's defense.

Yeah i remember #cleave. It was worse than #bash because it did less more damage and throw you farther away.

Cleave never pushed people, idiot. It did extra damage.

Sorry i thought i was an admin in Titans (when Bender hosted). Perhaps i'm wrong about #cleave, Maybe when i hit people with #cleave they just ran away from me from me at super high speeds

I heard that it did more than Bashing WHEN IT HIT but had nothing compared to the fall.
