This is not an arena for stupidity and nitroglycerin. Let me explain how these forums are supposed to work, since the majority of you seem to have forgotten.
General Discussion:"Any and all topics are allowed."
Now while I wouldn't want people asking for character restores in this forum, pretty much everything else goes (except for obvious spam). If somebody wants to talk about replacing their music in TRPG or Tribes crashing on them, so be it. These are all general topics.
Assistance:"Need help doing something? Check here."
This is a bipolar forum. One side of this one is for reference and the other for inquiries about support. If there is ever a character restoration issue or coding help for a mod, this is where that sorta thing goes.
Development:This forum is for the general development of game media. It doesn't even really have to be about PCRPG. There is a description specifically about that forum at the top of the thread list.
OkSo what am I saying exactly? I am trying to say that you all need to quit going postal every time somebody posts ON TOPIC in a forum. I mean, seriously, what is the deal? There isn't an excuse. If you are having a bad day, I don't want you here making others share it. If you are just an asshole, I don't want you here at all. You folks are driving away good conversation. If you don't calm down I'll start throwing out bans. I'm not going to ban you because I feel like it. But, if you are being a jerk I won't exactly hesitate.
Bad language and borderline jokes don't really offend me. People making a dump out of a service I pay for them to have does. Just be reasonable and respectable and there won't be trouble.
