I would learn Perl and PHP if I was going to learn someting.  VB is not my idea of a good time.

I don't like pHp, sounds too hard, and I already took a class on visual basic. I want to learn perl because you know perl :) and plus it sounds fun.

VB sucks balls for high level stuff (DLL interfacing and such turns complicated really fast).  It's good if you want the "windows" interfaces but most of the stuff I want to code works fine with a command prompt (C++) or on the internets!!!one!!1 (PHP/JavaScript/Java).  Thus Perl is pretty much the last major language I haven't had any experience with.

Ahh... well, yes, it is fun. You can make anything with it. ;) I made a little program that plays the "banana phone" song over and over, which you can't close, and if you attempt to open the task manager it hides it. Perl also has non-fun applications, but so far I haven't found any...
