Deep Impact - Cometcrashification
« on: July 6, 2005 01:44 pm CDT »
Anybody follow it all past the 4th? Apparently the crash generated a lot more light than scientists thought it would, and practically lit up the whole comet. I think this is a really awesome technical achievement, and every new mission into space seems to be more and more exciting.

If you have no idea what this is about, go to http://http://deepimpact.jpl.nasa.gov and find out.

Seems like the pictures on the JPL site arent up. Here's the link to the NASA Deep Impact site...http://http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/deepimpact/main/index.html
