Me and my dad have built a couple of go-karts together.  The first one we built we used a chainsaw motor.  Well, we messed with the governor (or took it completely off, not sure) and the thing ended up going around, I'd figure, 80mph.  It was LOUD too.  Instead of going put-put-put it went BAM-BAM-BAM!

Thing is I completely broke the breaks very quickly, and the thing would just keep going and going.  Luckily, I had a kill switch attached to the wheel, and was able to glide it out safely.

After that, we just stuck with Briggs and Straton unmodified.

Chainsaw motor propelled a go kart to 80mph? Sweet jesus. My original plan was to use a lawnmower engine, but now I'm thinking of getting a small engine that can be converted to Biodiesel.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Fastest I have driven would be my slightly  modified 91 Mitsubishi Eclipse.  AWD + turbo = fun.

Fastest car I have been in was my buddies bosses GT2.  At least I think it was a GT2.  I was wasted when I hopped in and I almost malarkey my pants when we were taking off from place to place.

I feel honored for Eastern Kansas to be sumed up by my old front lawn :P The fastest car I've ever driven?
http://http://rt.pcrg.org
140mph down a road full of potholes- not even a highway. It was extremely scary, but Im pretty sure my nuts swelled to triple their normal size. My check engine light kicked on  going up a hill at that speed, so i slowed really quickly. As soon as I got to the top a cop passed me- at that point I was going 10mph over so he flashed his lights and kept going. I had to wipe after that.
Then I was driving with particle in the same car, I think we got it up to 120-130 going down a nice smooth highway. I was really impressed with how everything just smoothed out and all you could hear was the whirr or the tires barely touching the pavement.  Gawd that was awesome.

I take it that's coolant or something, since robots don't typically use blood.
