ANOTHER report on Focus..
« on: December 14, 2006 06:53 am CST »
Hello. I go by the name of Mojito. Let's get right down to it, shall we? I was trying to level up in Travellers Den, and I got killed by a mob.. Okay, so I respawn, go back, go through the teleport, and notice my pack is on a ledge. I hop up on the ledge to get my pack, I get it, and the split second I do, I turn around and Focus is there. He immedietly shoves me off of the entire Travellers Den and I fall and die, and lose my pack.. I'm really sick of him bullying all of the low RL's (Like me... Only 8.) Can someone PLEASE do something about this? Thank you.

Best Regards, Mojito

That's not true at all, Focus. I ran away from you, totally away from jumping off the edge, and you shoved me down.

I don't know why exactly, but he's a general pain in the ass to all players.  Punishing him does nothing to modify behavior, so I dunno.  Try to avoid him?  Play in a group of players?  Stay away from the edges?  Get BOGs or WWs?

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Shoving.  Players will not shove/push/etc people off of potentially lethal heights.  These areas are that like The Travellor's Den, Yolanda, etc.  If there is any doubt about the lethal potential of a height, then you should not perform the action of making another player fall.  If it kills the player upon impact, this is indeed a lethal height.  Also, be aware that shoving people in order to kill them falls under the PK guidelines.  Punishments for this are as follows:

1st Offense:  Warning issued.
2nd Offense:  Warning issued and offender will be required to repay loses.
3rd Offense:  A jail period of 5-15 minutes as a general guideline.
4th Offense:  Player may be kicked or temp banned.

He did it two times, so it's his 2nd offense. He needs to pay approx. 65243 coins to me for the 2 Battle Axes lost.

Let's be honest though, focus.  You're guilty by default.

particle all you are doing is re-enforcing bad behavior. this will do nothing but show him that it is ok, and he can get away with it. the only thing that will solve the problem is getting rid of the problem.

Really the punishments he has gotten are a bit sad.  With focus you need to bring out the big guns for him to even consider changing. I'm sure losing 1/2 his remorts  might do something to his behavior.  If not lose 1/2 more until he is rl 0 again.

Mojito don't even bother arguing with focus. Just ignore anything he says. Go talk to a squirrel it will be a better conversation.

It's apparently useless to even bother try reporting him too. Sometimes justice just isn't a part of TRPG. *Sigh*
