Do any of you go through Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. or one of their subsidaries? I'm banning their entire range of IP's if not.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Bellsouth here too.  Crash, how fast are your downloads when you download from a capable download server (like gamespy)?  And do you use a USB or Ethernet modem?

I get about 150-155kbps downloads using my usb modem.

You mean running on the same ethernet?  Or running on the same powerline ethernet?  You know, if you have your powerline network hooked into a wall without protection, you can share your connection with EVERYONE in your power grid (which I guess is about the size of a neighborhood).

I wish I lived in NY, so I could just stick a WI-Fi reciever out the window and get free T3 access.

I don't think I could do that.  Seems like leeching to me.

Yeah, I wouldnt mind leeching off of Enron, and I'm sure thats what everyone would do.

If I ever found a way to steal a T3 or OC3 connection, I would plug it into the wall with my powerline adaptor, so I could share it with everyone.  <3 ....
