I'm not opposed to leaving the forum online and writable.  I had originally intended to archive the forum due to its general state of disuse.  I wasn't dedicating the time necessary to ensure that it wasn't getting invaded by spam bots and such either, so it seemed prudent.  I cleaned out a few spam posts yesterday, but I was surprised to see that the forum has held up rather well in that regard.  I disabled the last form of guest posting that I believe was available.
