My friend's uncle was one of the guys that made the game.  It took them forever to get it out and cost them so much that they needed someone to help them along money wise.  Microsoft bought them out and took Freelancer under their wing and kept most of the profits.


Oh, it was a great game btw.

was a great game?? it still is!! i beat it so fast tho...kinda easy. but still hella fun. i LOOOOOVE it. i also DLed the map so i know where every system is and i know where every jumphole is and i know whats in every bit of wreckage and i know where every base is and where every jumpgate is...ive salvaged some BLUE BLAZE before. And Guardian Cannons...Too bad I can't use it yet :-\
