Does it strike any one else as odd that the USA administration is going out of its way to cause scuffles in foreign countries which US troops must then be involved?

Wellll... that was part of the answer I was inciting... ;-)

But... I do know not a soul (dem, repub, green, etc) who wants bush re-uped... except for a couple internet junkies.... but they aren't old enough to vote. :-p  haha.

Oh well... we'll see what happens right? :-p

hey lidge, just to point out something....

someone once said "history repeats itself" which is exactly what is happening here.  If you don't believe me, go look up the war that started the Mexican-American war which ended in America gaining the Mexican Session.

the point being... if you want something done regaurding foreign affairs, you spark the war but let the other country start the war.

Oy... it's USA, France, Canada that are all part of the Haitian takeover thingamajig...

The current powers also do not realise that back then we were a production based country pumping out factory bullets, guns, machines all at astounding rates, all funded by USA and allies.  War was not bad for the economy back then.

In todays USA the factory work is no longer done by people but mostly by machines, so it is only adventagous to the people controlling those types of companies, and hardly benefits to USA economy at all.

ANyway... it runs much deeper than anything we've posted... but I decided I don't want to get all deep in to (potentially) politically charged stuff.
