Does it only effect IE7, or does the same thing happen with an alternate browser like Firefox?

Also, what is your native language?

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

yes yes, switch browsers.  Use Firefox with the IE renderer extension option.  That way if a page absolutely calls for IE then you can just "open in IE tab"

Don't misunderstand what I was saying--I love IE7 as a browser.  Using an alternate browser is just a useful diagnostic for his problem.

Pretty sure it's a bot. Now they don't even bother posting links, they just spam up the forums.

Hello,
I am having trouble with my Internet explorer. It is doing some very odd things.Sometimes it will completely close the page i am visiting for no reason or it will be very slow loading pages and when i say slow i mean very very very slow for eg i tried to google something and after 10 minutes of the page trying to load i gave up.I thought that it was perhaps the topic i was searching so i tried putting in random things to see if that made any difference but it didn't.Another problem i had was when i was on a forum and clicked on a link and nothing happened i tried to open a new tab and that wouldn't work either and it would let me access any options that are in my tools menu.i had to restart my computer.Just to let you know i have high speed Internet connection. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me with this problem.
And from the same IP, different name as that:

I've had a few that just post "not yet" from time to time.  I've had others ask really short questions.
