Why unsavory woman at Valve, when the CS team could take the time out of making a stupid and pointless update to 1.5.

I mean seriously.. Better netcode on CS.. Who would have ever thought of that.

Finally no more bs head shots.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

eViL, you were probably the coolest but most misunderstood person in this community.. maybe the rest will find out how cool of a person you are some day, and don't get too mad at the people who dont understand you.. its their loss in the end.

Cheaters dont annoy me as much as the Cal-M guys, cause you have a real reason to kick the cheaters.  Plus, they are a hell of alot easier to get rid of.  They dont stay long on the server, while the Cal-M guys I play with stay on for hours.

I bet all of you guys have this as your start page for whenever you get on your computer and open up internet explorer, this is so you can cheat at CS because you're all cheaters with dots and random patterns and other gay stuff.

Actually the bullets are aimed by the OGC which is downloaded by the player which is made by the OGC team which ruined CS from beta9.  I would play at LANs if it weren't for the fact that you should never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

CS = fun, despite the fact that the average server has anywhere from 1-5 hackers consistantly.  *sigh*  I miss pre-beta9..  back when there were like 4 maps and de_aztec wasn't called de_aztec =)

50 points to the first one who remembers what aztec was before it was aztec!

I've been playing CS from a long time ago since around the early beta 2 days.  I've seen tons of maps and some of the coolest ones they cut out.  I don't remember de_aztec being called anything besides aztec, but maybe it was and I just didn't realize.

I found something about Beta 6.5 where the interview talked about new stuff that comes out with its release.  One of the things he said was: "Namely, Narby's new map de_aztec is great -- especially when you get struck by lightning."

Interesting...

The earliest beta I downloaded was 7.  All I remember was that not all the weapons were there (vs. later versions).
