no, i am moving to seattle the week of the 21st though. i'll be a ways from vorter and the rest of them (thank god) but at least i get to see the greatest screw up in engineering history, the tacomah narrows bridge .

my dad drives a 2002 VW GTi VR6 with 17 inch VW alloy rims. we have a porsche sitting in our garage with a 67 olds cutlass convertable next to it.

my uncle with the carbon fiber shop owns a fully decked out bmw m3 and he is race certified. his wife owns a 1 of 1 bmw 328i sport race car. they both also own brand new VW R32's.

the uncle that gets at cost stainless steel brake lines owns a delorean.

one uncle owns a carbon fiber shop.
another owns maier racing inc.
another can get me at cost stainless steel brake lines.
etc, etc, etc.

so yes, i get parts for cheap ass prices. too bad you have no one that would do malarkey for you, and if you do, they need to be shot because they are obviously not sane.

vorter will see the car soon enough assuming i am allowed to keep the engine in, otherwise the 4 cycle is going back in due to gas efficiency .

and thats about as much proof as celtic will ever get of the car.

and yes, i read what he said, i was trying to take the long way around posting pictures of the car. my entire family line is engineers and cars, so i really don't know why i would lie about anything.

My brother bought a brand new Ford Focus last sept, it used to be a 1.8 TDCI with a stage 3 tubro, he droped a 2.5 TDCI in it and added some Diesal dump valves, a Chip, tinted the windows and some other stuff, and it's a really fast car. He wins a lot of races and gets about 500-600 miles out of a tank.

my parents got jobs there so i am moving out there for whats left of this summer, then going to michigan tech university in the fall.

we move the week of the 21st, we will be in gig harbor. prolly be out there end of the week of the 21st / beginning of the next week.

tis a 4 day drive although i can do it in 2 1/2 to 3 in my car... run about 3600 rpm 6th gear the entire way... it would love it. but my mom is driving her honda CRV with the dogs, so multiple stops get added for the dogs... which really slows me down since my parents said i can't leave their sight.

PS - the drive will suck for me because my car doesn't have cruise control. i am thinking a brick may work well.

It doesn't. I've tried. Not to mention the damage to your transmission if you have to brake suddenly. Unless, of course, that was a joke. In which case, I would feel stupid.

A brick wont, but if you get a stick with an U shape on one end, you can wedge one end to your seat and the other end to the pedal. I would recommend maybe an old child's crutch, that way you may be able to adjust how fast you want to cruise, if you cant find one. If not, you may be able to bribe some old man into whittling you one. Make sure you give him lots of prunes or he may become angry and not finish it for you.

Actually I missed that.
I live about 30 min from Gig harbor. Very nice place.
I am looking for a second home/piece of land out that way so that I can get out of the "Greater Seattle Area" on the weekends. Hopefully with a dock so I can keep the boat there.
