Particle should just build a simple contraption that will hit the reset button whenever the server freezes....it can look like this.

Particle transmits a signal via his palm pilot thingy, the reciever gets it, tells the machine to turn on it's electric engine that would move the rod foward, thus pressing the reset button, and then back again for the same amount of time.

vgw --> Woohoo!

I was supposed to have access to an IP switch this week, but that still isn't the case yet.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

btw like the picture on the server reciever, you had me going with that one. Some creativity lol.

i read all the post i find it strange how the discussion about a women being admin can drag for along time.

i am going to make this short..   Here are the possible reason why.. there aren't many male admin..

one  its a common that when a man have power it corrupts them.  They tend to abuse it, like a character that that has become G-stats.   That didnt pick on the newbs in the begining but started picking on them when they are on top.

2.  when a woman has that power it is different. Then tend to be in control and not let the power corrupt them.

3.  As for particle picking more woman for the task,  well can u blame him.  Maturity is the key and how you deal with others gets u that possition.  So far alot of the woman have prove them self to be mature.  And if it was a man that happens to be mature then u would find more males as admin.

oh man now i went to far.. this should have been short.. nevertheless i leave it here.  Hopefully this long annoying prolong discussion on female admin will end..

"you cant please the world"  but you can improve it. :)
Note:(please excuse any grammatical error on this post)

I'm not really sure what you're talking about...more women admins? We have one admin that is a woman. Hubba. All the others are men. Corona, Bonzai, GE, Greywolf. All men. If you go by previous admins, you have Pecker (female), Aphex (female). All the others were men.

As far as power corrupting, I disagree. The people who pick on noobs don't have the patience to wait until god to pick on noobs. They remort 5 or 6 times, get bored and max out. 9 times out of 10 the people who max out that low do it to pick on noobs.
Maturity has little to do directly with gender. Alot of it is age and experience, however I have met 13 year olds who are more mature than 20+ year olds. The majority of admins are an older group. Greywolf, Bonzai, and Hubba all have kids. They're used to not taking crap from whiney rule breakers. That's why they're admin. They know how to deal with issues that arise and they can be trusted to do so in a responsible way.

You might also note that all of the current Peace Keepers are also male. Not female.

Quote from: "Particle's New Admin Criteria"
Admin tryouts are open.  Check if the person you are interviewing meets the following criteria:
1)  Female.

That's it.

I'm pretty sure I've never used that diagnostic.
