I agree fully, A good tribes duel is very challenging. Aswell as a good tribes teamwork based Match.
Only thing, is that to me, tribes is slowly dying... I've had too many issues/situations/things-to-do to play tribes anymore. My schedule now, ranges from 6:15 AM to 9:30 PM. 3 Hours breaktime in between. So, I  just don't have time to play anymore.. I used to play TRPG, aswell as Anni, Bio, Shifter, and other cool mods... But once a stressful situation would arise, I would be too tense to play, and overall loose skill. I play once in awhile... But it's just not the same for some reason....

I forgot what the topic was about after reading all those nonsense posts.

Hmm..

Tribes.

4 things:

1 - addicive.
2 - simple.
3 - physics are fun instead of overly restrictive, but just barely respective to provide a learning curve that isn't terrible.
4 - duel/firefighting is not resptricted to a 2-d playing field with 3-d firesplanes, but is extended to 3-d movementplanes as well, with really fun physics that feel more real than most FPS.

The ability to create huge rivalries and piss off people directly >:D The revenge aspect is wicked. The community is cool, thats why i stick around. More often than not i find myself chuckling when i play and I've known alot of these players for a long time. It's fun so i stick around :P
