Graduated in June, B.S. Mechanical Engineering + B.S. Aerospace Science & Engineering.
NASA not hiring. Boeing not hiring new grads. Lockheed-Martin not hiring new grads. Northrop not hiring new grads. Most big companies not hiring new grads. Willing to relocate. Anyone know of any engineering jobs in your area? There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of companies that I've never heard of that are looking.

Congratulations!! No, sorry I don't.

Hey koro got a friend online that works roughly in the same field you are trying to get into. He basically has to work as a freelance changing jobs all the time. He just recently took a job here in the states. If you want you can try to talk to him maybe he can point you in the right direction. I Know him from just playing games online, so we are always in mumble. Let me know and ill send you the mumble info.

Josh I may be able to give you a foot in the door with Boeing... I went to prep school with the son of a long stand executive. Gimme your resume and ill see if I can do something. You have my contact info

Kid has a forking elevator in his house... They put in FOR HIS DOG because its too old to walk up the steps
-
Are you still in touch with this guy? Is he on good terms with his parents? That might be pretty awesome.
-
Haha why don't you try that crackpot company begelow aerospace... Google the skin walker ranch
-
Virgin galactic; aren't they building that space port near Vegas
-
Heh I've tried them both; got a rejection letter from Virgin and Bigelow never got back to me..
-
Are you only interested in aerospace engineering? You might be able to get in the door by starting with some related engineering career that is more easily enterable. Many aerospace parts are often built by third party manufacturers, and they often employ engineers on their staff for instance.

Particle, I advised the same thing to him. He is stupid stubborn though. At this rate he won't en make it to the unemployment line.

Not at all. I have my fingers in a lot of non-aerospace companies i.e. SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utilities District), some local government jobs, Schlumberger (big oil fracking company), Tesla, General Atomics, Raytheon, General Electric, Sandia National Labs, etc. I'm trying to branch out as best I can without getting too far out of my league. It's just a slow, annoying process.

If I could have a contract with any company in the aerospace industry, I would choose bigelow. If you call the FAA to report a UFO or any other anomalous atmospheric condition, they will give you the number to bigelow. I theorize that the government gave them (bigelow) electromagnetic based propulsion specs as part of a black contract to develop the technology for human use. If you do some poking around you would arrive at the same conclusion that I have.

SMUD, lol havent heard that in awhile. I'm originally from sacto

Oh malarkey, really? hahah that's awesome. Well I'm also applying for a job at the CA Air Resources Board, based in sacto (obviously). They have a position open that I might be able to fill.
Also looking at Air Force
