Mapping help/Coding

Ok this is what happens. I make a map then I save what i've done so far.  Then it crashes. I reload the map, and then I find out that all the terrian has dissapeared. Or simply does not load, and my other probably is that when I modify script.vol file Tribes.exe won't open?

Please help me

You need winvol to unvol the scrpts.vol, you will get a bunch of .cs files.  Edit those only.  You can leave those in your rpg folder when you -mod rog to your Tribes shortcut and it will overwrite the default RPG scripts when you host.  The alternative is to use a DOS program to put all the files back in to a new scripts.vol (makevol.exe).  As for the map, the rpg map has to be in tribes\base\missions to be edited with map editor, save it there then paste it back to the tribes\prg\missions folder.
