I got a question.  Is it deemed unhealthy if my computer will jump +1 ghz for a couple seconds like that?

It probably didn't actually jump at all, you'd need to set the motherboard for that. At the most it was a flawed reading caused by some quirk.

Well, the laptop drops down to 1GHz speed when unplugged, then jumps back up to 2GHz when plugged in.  It actually always reads at 2005 MHz when plugged in.

Im betting that it does indeed jump up to that.

Why do people insist on correcting spelling mistakes when they know full well what the person was trying to say?  I mean damn.. come on =/

I think I said something on that subject once.  I'll just say it again.

English is one of the hardest languages on the face of this planet, and it has the most irregularities.  Considering this, I don't really think anybody has the right to pick on somebody else's honest mistaken spellings.  It doesn't make you look smarter, wittier, or as if you had a good comeback.  That's the cheap way out, and it can get damn annoying.

I doubt I'm the only one with that viewpoint.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

He is correct. Many people share that view, myself included.

A view I also share is that if people can't be bothered to use good grammar, then I can't be bothered to pay attention to them.

I run Ad Aware daily.  Just teeny tiny data miners.

And that much free RAM is pretty good I say.  Anybody get higher optimization percentage?
