You think Ultrasounds are just for babies?

Ultrasound has many uses, but the most common is probably known for babies.  It is very useful in detecting heart problems as well as cancerous tumors.

Oh, I quit CS around Beta 6... just got too gay then...

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

It can be used for looking for anything with in anything that is not easily accessible, Kinda hard to believe that sound can paint ya a picture eyy.

They found the heart condition I have with an ultrasound machine when I was 15. Very strange seeing your heart pump on a monitor lol.

day, what kind of machines do you guys use for ultrasound? acuson/siemens, hp/atl/phillips, or GE? and what did you guys pay for it? i work for an ultrasound refurb company, and we can get you pretty much anything for a good price.

ultrasound is most commonly used for pregnancies, just to see how the baby looks, any deformities, what gender it is, etc. they now have 3d and 4d ultrasound, wherein a computer is used to render the image in 3d or 4d(live 3d) on the monitor, instead of just a 2d image.

you can study just about anything on your body with the right transducer (probe). carotid, heart, kidneys, liver, pancreas, testicles, breast, etc. i think im going to take some scans of my heart or kidneys, or maybe even my liver and post them. if you guys want to learn more about ultrasound try http://www.acuson.com (which appears to be down, damnit). or try out http://www.gemedicalsystems.com and look under diagnostic imaging/ultrasound. some of the logiq machines are pretty fancy looking.

malarkey, sorry ken, i wrote a small essay again.

Evolution of CS:

The Dev's Opinions of the Quality of Product:
First beta>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Now

Head Size (Increasing):
First beta>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Now

As you can see, the size of the head directly increases with the release of new versions.  The mentality of CS 1.7 plan:  "1)Gayify the damage system more.  2)Make the headbox bigger".  If there were ever a 1.8, then the plan would be:  "1)Repolish some unused features.  2)Gayify the damage system more.  3)Make headboxes bigger."

Get the idea?  They couldn't claim realism if their lives depended on it.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I tried to play CS but I lost the key to my Half-Life CD and so I can't get on even when another key or one of the key generators I obtain so I said forget it. CS is real coo but I always seem to die so quickly but I usually get someone in the forehead after about the 10th round  :D
