Title: Cool.
Post by: -RPG-secretagnt on September 2, 2003 08:39 pm CDT
My mouse totally just died. I get to use the keyboard for everything now. 8)

(I hate the mouse anyways)

You know, just in case anyone cared.

Anyways. Everyone go to your nearest super market, and purchase a large thing of Agnt Nut Crunch. It's good, and full of all the vitamins you need.

You've become a slave to the videogame industry.. lol

Those people at Funcoland are gonna tell you to fork off soon enough if you keep trading your games back in all the time.

How's Maximo, and did you ever beat that boss on Shinobi?

I havn't sold then Godai back yet.

Maximo is... well it's cool I guess. It really does have that "old school" feel to it, like all the reviews have said. I only played it for about 15 minutes. Actually, it was pretty fun. Run, jump, different sword combos, it was pretty cool.

I havn't played Shinobi since you guys were over. =P

Byron and I skipped last block, went to CiCi's, then came back and played Time Splitters 2 for about an hour and a half.

I hope it was a microsoft mouse.  One really cool aspect about the MS corporation is that they will instantly replace any broken hardware without you haveing to send it in.  Its very handy.  My intellimouse died sometime early in august, and they replaced it very quickly.

Why go through the trouble of getting them replaced when you can get them for near free at BestBuy? :d

A microsoft optical mouse is around $20 for the oldest version.  I definately prefer them over the generic logitech mice (except for the nice wireless ones that are similar to MS).  But, if u were teh kind of guy who spent 60 bucks on the mouse a few years ago, you wouldnt want to spend any more for a new one.  So why waste ur cash?

My precious $50 Logitech dual optical is about $15 now.

When you have a dual optical mouse, does that mean it doesnt have some of the problems that plague my single-optic mouse?  If I move it too fast across any surface, the signal becomes garbled or something, and it goes all over the place.  I have a major problem with that in games like CS sometiems.

For CS, I advise you to get a mouspad at least 2 ft long.

Trust me, it helps.

Nope.

I don't bare down to hard on the mouse when I use it.

But yeah.. I guess using a mousepad would help it to last longer.

I miss being the only guy who had an optical mouse in multiplayer when playing TFC and Quake III.  Those were the days where I always had the top score...

*embraces old Logitech Dual Optical*

I miss the days when I was a sight to behold because of my Logitech MouseMan (optical).  I wouldn't have bought it except my Mickeysoft mouse (was a fake) died.

My old MS ball mouse got dirt and stuff way up in it, and it couldnt be cleaned.  Curser/crossair was jumpin all over the screen.
