I wonder...

If i took the heatsink off my P4 and placed the tip of an ice cube directly in the center of the heatspreader (above the core), the temperature would be so high that it would melt then evaporate the ice almost immediately...

I talked to my buddy who built my system for me. We are gonna reseat the heatsink first and formost. I do have a couple places in the front of the case for more fans. Unfortunately they have no holes in the front to bring in cool air. I can cut holes in the case and make it look a bit on the Frankenstein style. Otherwise it will just blow internal air towards the back to the back fans. Not sure if I want to hack up the case. The PCI Slot fans may be the best option for me.

If you can get a link to pictures of the case you have, post the link!

We can inspect the case and tell you how to get in and install fans to help out.

A lot of cases have an area in the front lower part (in front of the internal drive bays for HD's) that requires the removal of the front panel to affix them.

The link... the link!

Also;

The rear blower fan is ok but you must be ready to buy a new one every few months because they don't last.

I would put a front intake of some kind on there.  If you have a free bottom 5.25" drive bay you should consider hooking up some hard drive cooler sized fans in the bay area (some are sold on newegg) for intake, or put it on the top facing outwards for exhaust (heat rizes.)

There are a lot of options... but I suppose we still need to see the case first. ;-)
