80's clothing tips/fashion advice
« on: August 24, 2004 11:37 pm CDT »
Hey people, for all of you who lived/grew up in the 80's I could use some help. This friday, our school is having a decades dance, and each grade level dresses up to a certain decade. 9th=50's 10th=60's 11th=70's 12=80's

I have a closet full of pimpin' 70's clothes, but I have no idea how to dress for the 80's. Anyone got any advice?

Go out and find a pair of parachute pants. Jams were in style back then to. Clothes with bright flourecent colors seemed to have been  the going thing to.

rent the movie breakfast club--That has a lot of the fashions that were in the 80's. here are a few more movie titles that can greatly help you out.
1. Can't buy me love
2. Goonies
3. Just one of the guys
4. Real Genius
5. Pretty in Pink
6. St. Elmo's Fire
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head that really had the 80's fashion based intot he movie. If you dont want to watch them you can google the movie titles and watch trailers or look for photos from the movies!
Good Luck

Watch the show "Saved by the Bell" if it's an earlier episode. It's on in 10 minutes on TBS  :P
