eViL, you were probably the coolest but most misunderstood person in this community.. maybe the rest will find out how cool of a person you are some day, and don't get too mad at the people who dont understand you.. its their loss in the end.

Can you translate that into programming for me?  I really don't know anything about cars.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Swapping out the engine is like swapping out the processor. Adding ram is like building up the engine. Putting in a high speed videocard and hard drive is like turbocharging.

That's too general Crash..  the processor should be compared to something smaller but equally important.. like the transmission..

The 5.6L is an engine (5.6 liter)

If he doesn't understand, then it is good to be general. Then there are less things to confuse.

I'm talking about the specific changes that will occur.  In programming--not hardware lingo.

Bear in mind I haven't read this thread for a few pages until the top of this one.

Basically what most ricers do is just add mods to their car, just like adding neon lights and fans to your case.  Who the hell disgraces computers by adding lights and 'cool' neon to it?

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

I just have a normal full tower steel case with only one side panel on.  Works for me.

I think we should change the name from computer modders to computer ricers.

I will have the cool blue glow coming from my case.  And I will find a way to use the uber l337 Xband keyboard with my computer.  That small keyboard reminds me of tank and his cool keyboards.
