Title: Linebreak joke

Man, i was having so much fun and these two kids tricked me into putting something into the console that they said would take off the cuss-filter but it jailed me. I just sent Part a PM, do you think he will get me out of jail?

I can't believe this, i have done nothing but sit in the mines and heal newbies, why would they do this and then stand at the jail cell and laugh at me.

Looks to me like he was tricked for real. If someone can co-ordinate a time to get him unjailed that would be swell.

Be aware that there are people out there that would like nothing more than to steal all your stuff and jail you, even if all you have is a pickaxe and 3 crystal blue potions. Also, if you're on under a different name and an admin comes in, let them know the situation and then get on your jailed character so they can unjail you.

It's just that, a signature... and it isn't even that accurate of a domain trace. It's just a sig dude, grow up.
I didn't say you had to post it... so if you didn't want to, that's fine.. I have never shown any hostility towards you and yet you continue to share you endless maturity by *****. If you don't like it that much just tell me and I will delete it, otherwise stop freaking out. Remember, it's just a sig.

I appreciate you trying to help me Bruce, thank you. And yes, I should have been more careful, there's no excuse I should have known what could happen b/c it was the same old **** a year ago. People like Wolf here with sour attitudes and nothing better to do but insult people to make them feel better... but it's the cool people you have to try and have fun with...

If you're going to say "BUT TAURIK TEHY WERE TRYING TO CRASH TEH SERVAR JAIL EM LOL"....not everyone. Some people came from other mods (where a few linebreaks on the screen won't 'crash the server') and had hex codes in their chat menus to look cool or whatever, some other people are tricked into doing it (like Ziros), and still some others do it by accident...

Not only does the pcrpg filter fail to discriminate between one or two linebreaks (which is harmless) and a flood of them (which can crash clients)....it hands down a ridiculous jail sentence. If you don't believe that a few are harmless, try it yourself; as of this writing, \x10 is not blocked and can be used freely.

I currently have about 25 characters serving a 2.56 year sentence in jail. 2 of them got out on good behavior, but still too many are serving hard time. *Free Asshat* *Free Asshat* ! ! !

Well.. back in the day when linebreaking forkers ran rampant; everyone was screaming for a fix and asking Particle do something about it, so he did.. It was funny at first, but now people are abusing the whole Jail sentence by hacking chars and putting people in jail.. etc.
Particle probablly would have already changed it if he kept in tune with the server, but he doesn't look into it as much.. I'm sure if you PMed him about it he might just change it.

I've pm'd him like 3 times (when he was on the forum) about my black-screened character and he wont even acknowledge me, so i doubt he will answer your pm.
