Title: Weapon Effects Question

Is it possible to have weapons cast a spell while you are attacking? And can it also have little particle effects on it while you are wearing it?

I'm sure it is possible, but you aren't likely to have good effects in Tribes.

hey now particle, thats offensive to me.  not good effects in tribes . . learn to code the effects first particle, then say they aren't that good.

you should add weapon effects to the Lightning Blade, that way an admin can run around looking cool

it wouldn't be hard, just particle has to learn first =P

/me is gettin a kick outta rippin on particle's abilities  ;)

There aren't particle effects/cool lighting abilities.  That's what I meant.

you can make lightning particle, its not hard

actually, there are some pretty cool particle effects i've seen...in the starsiegecraft mod (i think), one of the weapons can change into either a grenade-type of the missile-type. It would make a cool effect for a fire of something like that.

I downloaded that mod some time ago, never used it.  Anyway, how about a cool affect for Admins lvl 3,4, and 5 to have particle affects streaming behind them as they move?

Nate's lightning code is very nice...

I used to use it for another mod..

You can find it in Havoc, but good luck getting past the encoding..
