Title: Models Needed

Some of you know how to make models for Tribes.  This post is mainly for coal, but others as well if you know how to help.

Models:
1) Long very-broad sword for Anchet's Sword
2) Special mythical looking sword for Lightning Blade
3) Claymore model - heavy broadsword looking

Well i did acouple of nice models, but I found out that I have to pay for the program im using and I couldn't save them:/ I also dont know how to size them yet on the program, so we might have to do acouple of trial and error runs with them.

If you ever need a skinner. I can skin pretty good im not a pro but my work is pretty dang good. Just if you ever need one.

Hey Part, what was wrong with the default Claymore?  I think it looked cool enough to fit its name.

The broadsword came first and they share the same model.  Either one replaced would be fine.

Well, sword1 is done.. It took me awhile to get used to this program, but this is the first model i came up with, i guess it could be used for the anchet or maybe the lightning blade. The swords do not look as good in these pictures because my graphics card, but you can get the main idea of them. Ill have them ready in .dts format after i learn how to do that, and ill make sure to include the custom .bmps in a .vol for you to insert into the mod. Woo!

Oh yea, have you thought about making new models for weapons when you drop them, such as bogs and wws. I know you are using the disk launcher ammo for it now, but perhaps i can make a litle shoe box;) or not:/.

But can you give me and idea of how you would use those swords so i can design the last one to fit with it. I was thinking that Sword1 be the lightning blade and sword3 be the anchets sword, but i dont know how your head work.

Ok, Igot both the weapon models in a .dts format to be inserted into Tribes.I still have no idea how to test them out to get the size right, but if push comes to shove, you can just test them and give me feed back and I can rescale them.

Also, I could not add the .bmps I used to a .vol to insert into Tribes. My Visual VT was craping out for some reason, but I think you might be able to just load them into the rpgtextures yourself.

But when ever you want them, just tell me on here, and ill e-mail the shapes to you. And I'll start working on the last sword.
