1) Visit Crucial.com.

2) Search for CT6464Z335 to find the 512MB PC2700 DDR for $67.99

3) Checkout, when it asks for your coupon code enter NLHP25Q610 for $25 off.

The same cupon code works more than once? I highly doubt it..

Anyway.. I can get that with a lifetime no questions asked warranty for $54

Most people running performance systems wont be using PC2700 ram for more than 2-3 years, so lifetime warranty = pfft.

Actually... It does mean a lot...

You could go 10 years on the same ram, and they will replace it.

List of stuff I replace EVERY year (at least once):
Motherboard
CPU
RAM
Heatsink/Fan

I just don't see it as too useful for somebody like me.  I tossed my PC2700 for PC3500 this year and next year will likely be some sort of DDRII.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Yeah, but for the average performance buyer, I say 512mb ram for that price = nice deal.

But that deal won't be there for long.
