Actually the ones that threaten just want help or want attention. They usually have no intention of actually doing it. That's just my opinion.

I had a friend in high school who killed himself and he never once said anything about doing it. He had everything going for him. He had money, he was well liked, but his girlfriend made him feel like malarkey. So the day he actually killed himself he gave us all a hug goodbye after school and told us he loved us. We thought he was acting strange but never thought anything like what happened would happen. So I'm just going with my own experience.

This girl that used to live in our neighborhood about 2 years ago killed herself also. She never gave any hints or threats (that I'm aware of). I wouldn't neccesarily consider myself as a friend of hers, but I knew her. I just remember that morning I heard sirens and everyone was saying that she had killed herself. She had hung herself in her own room.

After that the family had a lot of trouble, they tried selling the house and moving out of there but no one wanted to buy it. Soon the kitchen caught on fire, and everything in it was ruined. (The house still has not been sold)

Somtimes now if you walk by their house the attic light is on, and then other times it's not. One time even I remember the girl's light in her room being on.

It's pretty weird going back there... me and my friend where even stupid enough to get high in their backyard once. (I was having some pretty scary hallucinations).

Ahem.. anyways,  back to subject.. I haven't really heard of anyone giving hints and threatning to commit suicide then actually throught with it, atleast not around here. But still, you shouldn't take your friends lightly when they talk about killing themselves.

I also had a good friend who committed suicide.  Name was Ray Burk.  His parents actually made a website in his memory (forgot the url).  

He always seemed happy.  Nobody ever knew he was depressed.  Then one day, he wrote a note and then just overdosed himself.


This person is sort of the same way.  Never lets anybody know how they are feeling, and suddenly it gets let out in such a violent way that the only thing that can come to mind is that you need to help them in order for them to make it through the night.


Everything is ok.  We talked about it, and both apologized for stuff, and I know im gonna hve to give a few hugs and stuff.  I know about 5 people who want hugs from me atm o.0
