What was up with that game Earthbound?  Why was it sold in such a huge box?  Was the game really big or something?

Speaking of that...why do they put 4x6 video cards in boxes that could hold a X-box... The box even has a few inches of the the over-sized book book... Maybe they think bigger = better?

P.S.- I know it can hold a X-box, because my friend uses his GeForce box to carry his around in.

Earthbound had such a big box because it came with the strategy guide.

I dunno..? To make it more exciting when you get a new one?

I guess just having a big colorful box along with it adds a little bit to the excitement of getting a new card.

There are only four logical reasons I can think of. The first is that bigger boxes are more difficult to steal than smaller ones. The second is that video card packaging generally has a lot of information to relay. Or it could to be that bigger boxes stand out more than smaller ones. "Buy me! Buy me!" The fourth is that a bigger box will protect the card more than a smaller one can.

Prince of Persia is a pretty old game.  Mac OS7?  I thought it came out before that...

Anybody expecting that Sotcom II game? I'm am, but I need some reviews before I rush and buy it but then again there is always Blockbusters right? What do you guys think, just rush out and get it or wait. What about Halo 2 I want to buy the first one for the PC but I hear about part 2 coming out soon. What's with that?

Pssht on Socom II.

Halo PC is pretty, and pretty good for that matter.

Halo 2 will decimate almost every other game out there, gameplay wise (the graphics are pretty, but the textures are of lower resolution)

What I like about the fighting is, you can run.. and jump onto/over them and slash them from behind or while in the air. That screenshot was in slow motion.. so that's why it's kinda blurry.

Btw.. that's Prince of Persia ^

Yeah, that should be a good game.  I loved the PC version (Prince of Persia 3D).  I thought it was beautiful, and avoiding traps was always fun.
