I can't see your picture.

I just installed a 98 machine not too long ago with all system tools options.  It didn't have msconfig on it.  My XP machine (and my 2k laptop) both have msconfig.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I don't know why you can't see it..

It gives the error message saying there is no such thing as msconfig.

You guys are wrong.  You can download MSconfig for any os windows 95 and higher.  I had to install it on my sister's 2000 machine not long ago.

Here is the 2k download: http://www.ipkonfig.com/Downloads.html

And this one works for 95/98: www2.whidbey.com/djdenham/Msconfig.htm

Not sure about ME.  Perhaps the 98 ver of msconfig will work...

If that is the case than neither I or Particle are wrong.

It comes default with 95, 98, ME

I guess you have to download it for 2k and XP

I run 98SE, and it definitely has MSConfig on it, Particle.

Then it is a Micropenis bug.

If many copies of each don't have it.

I have the origional 2k, 2k pro, and 2k adv server,.. None of wich has it.. My brother has XP proff. Doesn't have it. My fried has XP home, doesn't have it.

And every copy of 98 I have touched (many copies) have it.

All my XP and 2k rigs have had msconfig fresh off the CD.  It was installed by default with the OSes.  I dunno why you don't have it.

I can understand the 98 thing though.  It has a completely braindead installer and on many machines will even forget to copy man driver files (ran into this a while back on that machine).  It's not too uncommon.  I don't know if SE suffered the same fate.
