Creating packs as an Admin
« on: April 19, 2004 10:50 pm CDT »
#spawnpack tagname {x} {y} {z} | packstring: {3} Spawns a pack.

Is what is in  Documentation/Admin Commands.

I #teleport TRomo(me) to get the x-y-z coordinates for where I want my pack. I then type: #spawnpack Test1 (x coordinates here) (y here) and (z here) | Claymore 1

It says when I try to pick up the pack: "You do not have the right to take Claymore 1's pack."

Hmmm, is packstring where I put the pack owners name? I also tried using "TRomo" and "packstring: Claymore 5" in place of "Claymore 1"
Still, with no success.  Also how to delete a pack would be nice to know too. Are there any tutarials on how to Quest Script? There are many AutoQuestScripters but they just do the work for you, they do not tell you how/why you need to do them, or what each function means. I heard "Susan the Traveller" had a site with tutorials, that was a while ago, I don't know if it is still up.

#spawnpack yo | * *>#call forkyou

if you dont put the coords, it will go where you are looking. and you need the * *> so anyone can pick it up.

If the * *> doesnt work, try * * >

Yeah, it's:

#spawnpack name x y z | * * claymore 1 >#call block ^Variable,

One of the asterisk things is where you put the name of the person you want to get the pack (so if you put in Razore for one of them, only he could get the pack).  I'm not sure what the other one does.  At least I think that's what those 2 stars do..

one of them is who it belongs to and the other one is the name of the pack. so when you put star it just says you found a pack

I think.

I think that's what you are looking for...?

Also... I never needed "VML" to view that page before... but it looks like it will prompt you to download it now.  Looks like it is part of the IE6 SP1 anyway... so it shouldn't be too much of a trouble unless you are on a dialup modem. :-/

Well........ that site has a crapload of information, so goodluck!

Ah, those 2 stars mean everyone.  You can take both stars out and put a name in their place, and it will go to that one person.  The name of the pack is typed in before the coordinates of the pack (if you have any coords).
