The car you are thinking of... I sold :P.  2002 Golf GTI VR6 Twin Turbo (sold) and my current 1998 Golf GTI 2.0L.

My brother just bought a Ford Focus ST 170. The week he bought it he took out the tubro (even though it was a stage 3 standard) but a bigger one in, bigger Rad, 2 intakes, tinted windows, and now he is looking to buy 18''s, when he is finished it should come to about 300bhp.

How do you know how fast it goes? I didn't tell you. I've seen 150 BHP golf's destroy 350 Subaru's. Besides in Ireland we don't race in quarter miles all the time. Our roads are windy and small. We are more rally drivers than drag racers.  We do both but in my eyes there's nothing better than a 15 mile race from newery to armagh. (I'm from armagh and newery is aprox 15 miles away.  Our engines are also smaller than the american and canadian ones.  believe it or not a 2.5 L Petrol engine is a big engine at home :P

I bet the cops arent road nazi's in Ireland like they are in America.  I bet they find better things to do with their time.  I'd like to try my hand at a race out there sometime.

The cops try EVERYTHING to catch speeders.  They have road cameras, Unmarked vans with a speed camera front and back, the go on the roads with speed cameras in their hand, all the new recrutes in the new police force all start my catching speeders.
In fact my brother and 3 other of his mates were all racing on this street last week. (4 cars of them) and my brother went to over take then noticed the cops behind him, so he slowed down and called the other guys, but somone went to overtake him and the cops see it, only thing is they thought it was my brother. So he might be getting done for doing 80 mph in a 30 mph zone.
