Can you remember who told you to use Azureus??? ;)

Guys download Azureus. It lets you download a lot more things at once. It lets you upload at whatever speed you want (above 2kbs)

It doesn't make your computer unusable when downloading 3 things at once. Give it a try, it's worth it.

I found a fix for some people for bit torrent.  Its all about blocked ports.

This couldnt help me, since its my very unconfigurable Westell modem that blocks my ports.  But hey, if you use linksys, you may want to check this out.

Of corse it does, It's 20X as good as the origional BT, you can limit your uploads (if you want to play games online) It doesn't shove everything on your harddrive at once, it downloads it and whatever it downloads, it puts on your harddrive,  You will be able to download more than 1 thing at a time, close to 4! if you got the connection.

Its a pretty consistent Torrent downloader.  I've gained +2kbps using Azureus when downloading.  Not bad, but I still hate Java.

With the origional BT downloader i only got about 20 KBS with ONE download, And it slowed down my computer something serious, but with azureus i can download at about 200KBS for some popular files, also i can download up to 4 things at once.

Just changed my ISP.  Was downloading around 10-12kbps.  Now I'm at 40+kbps with either downloading program.

When i had cable, i was capped at 40 upload, Azureus got it to over 60kbs somehow.

Some programs like Mozilla help you exceed your bandwitdh when downloading.
