I agree there isnt that much difference between a 4200 and a 4600, especially after you OC the 4200,  but the bottleneck must be elsewhere in your system if you recieve similar or better results with a ti4200 over a R9600.

There is no bottleneck and don't ask me to explain how it is possible, but it is, and I have no idea.

On another note... The rest of my parts will be comming in tomorrow so I will finally have a godly computer.

6800
dual opterons
4 gigs pc3500

If anyone needs geforce drivers, I found these to be the most compatible. The newest ones dont support alot of games for some reason.

Nvidia ForceWare 52.16

Finds cures for diseases.  Web communities, especially overclocking sites, compete to see who can fold the most.

Uberclockers.com team number is: 39013  if you would like to download the client (5.0) and join in.  I recommend the graphical client, the console works... and then it doesnt work... for me.

Count me in.

Which Opteron model?  If I got a dualie board using dual XP-Ms, I would be able to clear about 21,000 MIPS or so granted I could get them to non-moblefy.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.
