not a midair catch, they were going to have the capsule slow down with the parachute, and there was actually gonna be a person on the ground that was gonna catch it.

DUDE>> NO!

Evil Dead 2 was not a sequel, it was a remake.

I have said this countless times.  Sam Raimi (the director, writer, camera man) even says as much on one of his special edition DVD's of ED1, ED2, or AOD. (cannot remember which, but I am not going to watch all that extra feature again... nor do I own them so I can not any way.)

Anyway... NASA is bad these days.   Terrible.
