As if a thousand is some catastrophic number.

This is a delayed conflict, I don't see how you can possibly consider a thousand casualties to be too numerous.

And to cite buggery like "any death is one too many!!" is bogus in and of itself.

yeah I mean it sucks to lose even one person. But we just invaded a country, and have occupied it for quite some time.what did some of you people expect?

In Vietnam thier was 500 deaths a day for a lsser cause. nothing ever got solved in that war. atleast in this war some good will come from those soildiers deaths.

58K is catastrophic. Thats why thier is a memorial in Washington D.C.

Good point personally i don't like war, one of my good friend's is over in iraq as a field medic for the marines, but, even if there is no "WMD" that's still one more dictator stripped from power in the world.
