The thread starts off as a "Welcome back Xanth!" thread, then turns into a "OMG!1 12stones is Lastwish" thread, and then to a book worm's thread.

rofl.. I love PCRPG and it's randomness

I couldn't stand this book for a few reasons.  The main one is that the author spends whole pages doing nothing but describing the shells or fish in the certain waters instead of progressing the storyline.  Remove those pages and you have a decent book that weighs in at about half the length.

Personally, my favorite book is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.  It's by far one of the most rewarding books of all since I can relate with the guy, and if you pay attention, nothing in the book will supprise you because the symbolism and foreshadowing all point in the same direction.  Very very good, and relatively short if you want to check it out.

Gnight.... Gstricto is obviously picking on you because he is a dirty racist.
So ironic that a heart made by man, when broken is easily fixed.   But a human hurt can last a lifetime.

ya, what you said.... lol
Funny you should ask about the dark tower, I just found that book here at work in our Library.  Book IV i guess.  Read some during lunch, the first chapter is good.  I guess I will have to buy the whole set now. DAMMIT.
FYI I noticed that there selling some of Kings books on eBay for a ridiculous amount... what the hell is up with that?

It's his best work. Alot of his other stories connect to it... like Hearts in Atlantis, The Stand, Salem's Lot, and IT.

"The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed."

- The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower, Book 1)

The Da Vinci Code..  read that, and if your mind isn't blown, you need to share your secrets with me.  There are some really crazy (yet convincing) theories in that book.  If you are interested in theories of creation/existance, and don't need a rediculous sci-fi horror drama infested storyline to enjoy a book, you should definately check it out.
