More serious than I?????

Okay so there's this girl I know, and you're all saying that I'm too serious about everything, and I am....sometimes. But now I have a problem...

Based on this one conversation I had with this girl, is she TOO serious? Does she need to lighten up for real? I think she does...

Keep in mind, she is a SOPHOMORE in High School. She still have two years to think about all of this stuff....

I want to help her, but I really think she's just being too hard on herself. But naturally, I can't always trust myself so I would like a few other outside opinions before I take solid ground

Those are the kind of kids that get burnt out way too early and end up either having a heart attack or partying too hard in college and flunking.

You don't need to take SATs, SAT2s, and ACTs. You only need one of the three. Each college has a preference as to what test they prefer you to take. Generally, West Coast colleges want SAT or SAT II and East Coast colleges want ACTs.

Yea, she needs to lighten up, just a little. Sophmore year is preperation for Junior Year. When colleges go to look at your accomplishments and grades, they tend to focus on your grades from Junior Year (because of Senioritis).

Her situation really may depend on her financial situation.

My girlfriend really wants to go to a certain college, a very good one (she will be a high school senior next fall), but unfortunately, her family cannot pay her entire way.  All last year (her junior year) she has been busting her ass for good grades, ACT scores, and scholarships.  Lately she has been writing many essays in order to get scholarships.

As her best friend and boyfriend, I have supported her in this endevor by proofreading her essays and making suggestions.  I was lucky enough to have a family wealthy enough to send me where I wanted.

Heh....Im fortunate as well to have the financial capability to go to a good school, but even so, I decided to just go to a local college, and I told my parents it's because I want to save them money (And it really does save thousands of dollars) and they got mad at me....that and also because I don't know what I want to do. Though lately, after recent "events" Ive become kind of interested in Law Enforcement...anyone got any pointers or advice in that area?
