This is mostly for Particle, but I also wanted to get anyone elses input on this neat little device I first heard about a few years ago..

Not surprisingly, I heard about it while watching a conspiracy story on Area 51: The dudes were monitoring the airwaves and trying to find any military-made noise.

Anyways, considering the most expensive device is over $1000, i figured only the elitest would know much about it. The reason I ask is because im really really interested in what goes on outside the usual radio station waves. Emergency frequencies, military, etc. Even if it's coded and stuff, i still dream of hearing in on stuff like that.

yeah id definately need a decoder for that, which, of course, the military won't exactly give to me....i was just thinking along the lines of picking up unnatural noise/(i cant think of the word right now...encrypted?) chatter
