WinVT 1.0 Release Candidate (RC3)
« on: April 12, 2006 09:33 pm CDT »
I've made some fine tuned changes in WinVT.  The major things are proper column auto-sizing, save notices if you go to load a project without having saved the current (if it has changed--like the exit prompt), and a status bar notification for how many files are currently checked.  I've also revamped the list's drawing code, so it is faster than it used to be.

If you've ever used VisualVT, you know how much it sucks.  I got fed up with it yesterday and designed a replacement.  After many hours of work, I've finally got a product that I think is quite polished and ready for initial testing.

One of the nicest things about this program is the ability to make "Project Files" that allow you to easily bring up, manipulate, and store collections of files to be made into VOLs.  Additionally, this program is much more configurable than VisualVT, faster, and best of all minus the general suck that is the very soul of VisualVT.

If you are interested, please give it a download (bottom of post).  If you have any realistic suggestions or comments, please post them in this thread.  I will try to take care of any feedback for RC4 (if needed).  After these stages, I will make an official release.

As always, this program requires the .NET Framework (2.0) to run.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.
