One of our friends died, and our teacher is missing.

One of my favorite teachers I have ever had is missing. He was my (and particles) spanish teacher. Two years ago, I was the president of Language Masters, the group that Mr. Carlson took to Costa Rica.

Once there, they took a day to swim on the beach. A large wave came up and swept them all out.  The undercurrent caught a few students. Mr Carlson was able to save one, and the student got to the hospital and is now released. Mr. Carlson went back to save another student after that. He and two students named Andrew and Jessica never came back. One of the others, Daniel Tongier, someone I have had many conversations with, was found dead. On an interesting side note- the day before they had to switch hotels because a volcano erupted next to them.

 I am not religious or anything, but please pray for them.

They actually didnt find the rest of the bodies. It was a rumor, only 3rd generation it got distorted, wow.

Well So Andrew has been confirmed dead. Theres still the other 2 waiting to be found..

Kristy is one of my friends. We were actually in 2 spanish classes together. I was Jesus and she was Estrella. Mr Carlson saved her life. I dont know how thats going to be on her mentally.. I dont think I could take that, knowing someone sacrificed their life to save me. (He didnt die saving HER, but saving the rest of them- by the way i say "die" because the odds dont look good no matter how much you ignore the facts.)

But theres still hope... kind of.

Carlson and I were pretty good friends. I have hung out with him on many occasions. We've played console games together and games of soccer. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. malarkey like this makes me believe there isn't a god.

So far they havent found Carlson or Jessica. Its starting to look like they wont find them.
