How not to steal a Sidekick

Great story.  Hope it all ends well.  The theives are already aware that people are on their asses, and have changed their myspaces and such.  They also arent answering the phones.

A girl lost her sidekick in a taxi.  She bought a new one, activated it, and was able to pull pictures and other info of the "new owner" onto her sidekick.  

The girl is between the age of 14-16, and has a kid.  Her boyfriend is between 26 and 28.  Thats statutory rape.  The guy who stole it is definately MP (someone on digg posted an image of him in uniform).

Wow... just... Just wow... If I lost my phone, I'd tell my phone company what happened... They'd give me a new one and deactivate the old one, because you know, I have this thing called warrentee (SP?). Although I do agree with where this guy's commin from... Stealing is stealing. As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

That's not entirely true. I can vouch for a few people here and there who are definately not worthless.

In fact, just a few weeks ago I myself found a lost phone in the parking lot in front of Safeway. (I hear it ring, and ran over to where I found it in some bushes). So what did we do? Called the last guy who called the phone, and he came over and picked it up.

It's true, a lot of people have lost their worth these days, but there still are a few good samaritans out there.

Sweeping over-generalizations are a way to release stress.  I don't literally mean that every single person is of no value anymore.  Sorry if you took it that I included you in that group.  I didn't mean to.
