I can't really do that with an normal SFX module in a rar archive.  If I made an installer myself, they'd have to have .NET.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

But how would I further the Microsoft monopoly that way?

It's kinda sad--there are instructions right on the thing yet a good portion of people don't read it and do it wrong.

Could always make a flash movie of how to install, like Installing for those who can't read.

It doesn't make much sense for them to install a 3D chat room if that's the case.

I am guessing that was in responce to the flash movie?  Meh, I guess I should be more specific in what I say then.

For those who can't read the instructions because they are scared of a couple lines of text, it would be a lot easier for them to have a guide that allows them to see visually what they need to do, like a flash movie.  By flash movie I mean the Macromedia Flash Player.  That way they can't say "I don't understand", or "What do you mean find where Tribes is installed", because they would visually see what you mean.  Not sure just a suggestion.  I will see if I can make one if I am not to lazy

If they aren't capable of finding their own Tribes folder, they really shouldn't be trying to play this game.
