I'm sure you've spent more time trying to figure out a ghetto way to get rid of spambots than it would have taken to install a few addons and be totally rid of them.

You obviously don't understand the programmer mentality.  I want something BETTER than a few crappy mods...something that dicks with REAL people as little as possible.  That's something most mods aren't apparently interested in.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

So true.  When I was trying to make a little forum for a map I made for WarCraft 3 I was trying to find some to keep dumbasses off without messing with normal people.  It was impossible.

I rely on good ol' fashioned manual deleting of the accounts and banning the ip's.  It's not a mod.  It just requires human interaction.

Well I've officially quit the forum until further notice. the spams too annoying and nothing gets done about it! Maybe when there's noone left Particle will decide to do something about this annoying problem.
