Wat i find funny is that 12stones clames to be inside with rapists even though rapists get put into protective custody automaticly even if they don't wana be there... Also, 12 people to a cell..dude u wearn't in prison, you were in a holding center lol.
There were more than 12 people in one "cell" but that was when I first got there (yes, it was a holding cell) and then I got put in one with 2 other people (one being the guy in for kidnapping and aggravated assault). The guy that was a "rapist" was there for something different, and had previously been charged with statutory rape.. they all simply
loved talking about their previous charges and how they wanted to just go "up the road" and serve their time rather than dealing with the courts and probation and malarkey..
..you're right, it was a holding center, but right next door was an actual prison. I wasn't there long enough to dress out and be moved over, but most of the people I was with that night left the next morning to be replaced by a whole new crowd. Everyone there was really nice and honest.. I'm sure it'd be different in a higher security prison, but they don't mix the overnighters with people that are already serving long sentences.
