Somewhere along the line, something went wrong, and all of a sudden anyone who cares about the planet or environment enough to want to do something about it is called a "hippie" or a "treehugger" or a "dirt worshipper". wtf?

that's how its always been. but im not really a hippie. i dont eat meat because i dont like it. not because of the animals. im the top of the food chain so i have that choice. i think the idea of what the hippies whanted in the 60's was all good until it became just another mass following sub culture. once the group got bigger everything and everyone got stupid.

so yeah whatever. and lidge, im pretty much the laziest person alive. well im sure that's not really true. but im pretty lazy. plus the idea of going to school full time and holding down a full time job just isnt that great to me. and you dont know my exact location so i think im safe. knowing that im a 24 year old girl is ok.

and fluffy.....that's right. i am a blondie. and you are fluffy.

Aww, he must not have wanted people to see his idiocy.
There were two guys, one had a glock or something with a full clip. He unloaded it as fast as he could at some target, but he must have miscounted or something. Next thing he's walking over to the guy holding the camera, and holding it out, barrel first, for the other guy to take it when it goes off and almost hits the camera guy.
And then he's just like 'whoops, you okay?'

That was just dumb, lol.

Sorry...I had you pegged wrong.

---

I've quit bothering to correct people about the whole clip/magazine thing.  I figure that it really doesn't matter.  I know what they meant, and they probably don't care either.

---

Now that sounds stupid.  See, it's these morons (camera shooter guy) that give legitimate gun owners a bad image.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Oh yeah.. guns!

I am going to a Machine Gun Shoot just south of Reno Nevada next weekend.

lol aphex, obvious creepyness aside, I was just trying to have fun with this (I think rather silly) idea of the internet!

Koro -- I love you man, but that is how it has always been in California.. especially souther california.  I don't use "hippie" in a degrading way, more like a satire of all the misusers, by misusing it myself.
;-p

Particle -- Oh yeah.. try growing up where people shoot guns in the sky for holidays.  It's insane.  One of the sheep got killed on new years by a stray bullet about 12 years a go; I have stayed inside every single year since then.

Shooting into the air is not responsible behavior for somebody operating a firearm.  The ground at > 45 degree angle is marginal.  I wish people would stop and think about their backstop like they are supposed to.  The bullets have to come down somewhere.  Unless you shoot almost exactly straight up, you'll get a projectile that's still ballistic instead of free-falling.  Heavier projectiles can be a problem at their terminal velocity, too.  Light rounds like 45 grain .223 Remington probably wouldn't be, but I wouldn't recommend you test that theory.

Be careful at the machine gun shoot...those things have a lot more "normal" people than ranges do.  They often are the least qualified type of people to be handling a firearm of any kind, yet alone an automatic one.
