ARF'S NEW BASHING COMPETITIONS...

OK you bunch of n00bs...  you too Evil_Inc...    I am revitalizing the old idea of bashing competitions with some new twists...  I would like input from all those who INTEND to participate...   I would like to share my ideas with the following areas.

1) Scheduling...  anytime is good for me...  i am on this dang thing from about 6 pm till 1 am  eastern seven days a week lol...  I would like to be able to take into account the younger players that have curfews and bedtimes...   I am a Dad and i understand so i need your input...

2) Prizes...  rare items will be up for grabs , the better the performance the better the item...  what would you like to see?

3) classes? divisions? different types of bashing...   here are some of my ideas...  

     a) King of the hill...  A remote mountain top will be the arena...  there will be a clock that monitors the time and the character left standing when the clock runs out ...  wins,   If you are bashed off map you must remain there till the competition is over or in the observation area or you will be disqualified... Morf will be available and MUST be used for teleporting back to the starting area.    Prizes will be awarded for many things..  but most of all for this competition it is bragging rights...

     b) Arena bash... a yolanda style arena will be constructed in a remote location and competiton will be a free-for-all type of match.  3 minute matches... or last man standing... best out of 10 will win overall and individual prizes will be awarded...  same rules apply for off map...  if you are bashed off map you must remain there till the competition is over or in the observation area or you will be disqualified... Morf will be available and MUST be used for teleporting back to the starting area.

     c) Team vs Team...  this says it all...  Competiton will take place in an Arena suitable for teams...  all teams will consist of 3 players...  teams must register their player names and all wear the same colored robes... 3 - 3 minute matches... or last man standing... wins.  if you are bashed off map you must remain there till the competition is over or in the observation area or you will be disqualified... Morf will be available and MUST be used for teleporting back to the starting area.

     d) Individual Challanges...  again self explanatory...  This is for the purpose of honor and glory and settling grudges...?  maybe?  All winning bashes MUST be off map...  Best out of 10 will win overall  prizes will  be put up by the contestants... what are you willing to lose?  Bash Officials will MATCH all prizes...  to double the stakes.

These are just some of the ideas that I have  to help make the time spent here more enjoyable.  Hopefully this will break up the monotony of the leveling and break the boredom suffered by most of the gods...  and you will leave my n00bs alone...  hahaha

We will be experimenting tonight 11/17/07 beginning at 9 pm eastern...  and will continue till all parties are over...  post your ideas here so we can all look them over...  I am excited about this...  even if we have a clear... we will still have bash competitions...  it will just take longer to get there lol

Hello Sports Fans...  

We had an AWESOME night of bash competitions.  6 competitors showed up and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable events i have ever had.  Admin's Rose and HUBBA were in attendance.  Thanks for coming ...  

To bring everyone up to date, I decided to bring back the Bash Competitions that I had heard so much about... to watch the talented and not so talented go at it in an arena with everybody having an even chance....  

I created 6 BashWarriors  (#'d 1-6).  all with the same stats...  lvl 101 and all skills maxed for that level. (Rose's idea... ha said he didn't have time so i did it for him  lol) I have Also created 6 Gladiators (#'d 1-6) as well for future, larger scale events  if necessary...  we struggled with the format for the first few matches but found a rhythm that i think will be consistent.  The free for all worked best as there were so many unpredictable variables in the game.  The format was 3 rounds per match...  three matches...  highest average finish per match won match prizes and highest overall won the Tournament prize.  here are the results...

Yeah Dude!!!  i heard stories about how much fun you guys had and as i said in my opening statements... i wanted to bring it back...  so we did in a big way...  you should join in sometime and bash your arse off  lol
