I dunno if you guys know but...finally those bastards did it!
Twentieth Century Fox has officially announced that it signed director James Wong (Final Destination, X-Files television series, The One) and casted twenty-five-year-old Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds, The Invisible, Lost television series) in the lead role of Goku for the movie adaptation of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball action manga.
The movie is in production right now and was anounced for 15 august!
I was kinda happy knowing this malarkey and I'm sure that tons of people will go see it, this also means...
no going on special holiday in august!ahah I've been waiting for this movie during years...Some other guys were making some dragonball movie too but they ended giving up like a lot of anime live action movies...(same had happened with transformers)
Hope its better than that one made about 30 years ago and I cant wait to see the cool haircuts!
The story is mainly a part of the piccolo arc, where goku has to find the dragonballs before him...
at the end there's the final fight between them.
The movie they were making a few years ago (and quit) was about the freezer arc...so it makes me a lil sad...but still...I'm sure it will come afterwards
ALSO
I just saw the new live action evangelion movie was going to come out on september 1
but it's in production ...and will prob take a few years...but they started and got enough money and new graphic techniques
DAIM after transformers 2 other anime live action movies....I've been waiting for this prob about 10 years. Now just the warhammer movie and I'm finally done with expectign more kickass movies
