Major Userbase Purge [2010.09.19]
« on: September 19, 2010 01:20 pm CDT »
If your account had zero posts to its name, it was likely deleted today unless I recognized the name or had any other reason to suspect it wasn't an old spammer registration.  You'll have to make a new account if your previously legit account was nuked.

I think this will be better for all of us.  I know I was certainly tired of seeing spammer accounts in the member list.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

P.S.  I didn't mean to email a billion of you.  In SMF, "Announce Topic" apparently means "email everyone" instead of "sticky to the top of all forums".  Sorry.
