« on: March 29, 2008 06:24 pm CDT »
How Do I Fix This Problem?
rpgmalehuman.dts continues to pop up when I try to log in.
If any one can help me I'd highly appreciate it.

This happens when you have installed TRPG incorrectly.  Check your Tribes folder.  If you don't have an RPG subfolder there with lots and lots of files in it, there's your problem.

Alternatively, you just didn't launch Tribes with the RPG mod.  To do this, make a shortcut to Tribes.exe somewhere.  Then, edit the shortcut to add -mod RPG to the end of the target.

For example (just don't add anything starting with where it says +connect):

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

You don't appear to understand the installation process.

1.  Install Tribes.  TribesRPG requires Tribes.
2.  Update Tribes to version 1.11.
3.  Install TribesRPG to a subfolder called RPG under your installation of Tribes's root folder.
4.  Make a shortcut to Tribes and add -mod RPG to the end of the target so the mod actually loads.

If you fail to do one of these things, you will not be able to play.
